That's it in a nutshell. You've incorporated the salient fact in a
rant. Movitz is innovative but the very guy who developed it cannot
spend time on it *because it brings in no money*. If FOSS was a viable
business model, he could do it.
If manufacturing goods for sale were a viable business model, my “socks
that warn you when you put them on the wrong foot” idea would have made
me rich. But it didn't, so clearly you can't make any money by selling
things.

Or else how do you hope 'selling' _them_ a Lisp OS?
I have no idea what you're talking about, but the point was that some
products are completely unwanted.
