Let N be a big integer, slightly larger than 2^696, with total of 210

almost instantly prints out a big integer slightly larger than 2^695.
PowerLisp 68k "thinks" for a couple minutes, and finally says:
  An error has occurred:
  Integer is too large
WTF??

I guess you are using this ancient Lisp on your ancient Mac with MacOS 1.0?
Maybe you should upgrade your hardware. You can buy a more modern Mac for
the price of a good restaurant visit (maybe for the whole family at the end
of the bid)

Then you could install modern Lisp implementations, like OpenMCL.

You must be new here. ;-)

Robert can't update his computer hardware for various reasons since a
few years.
Robert doesn't want to update his hardware all he wants is to whine.
I would happily give him my P4 if he lived close to me.
If somebody in his neighborhood wants to organize buying some preused
but usable system for Robert I would be happy to donate some money if
he promises to stop whining in cll.
3 months ago P4 system with 2.8GHz cpu, 2GB of RAM and ATI 512 MB cost
was 60 dollars and the 19" CRT monitors were free I believe the prices
in USA aren't higher then that.
