Sorting techniques in Lisp (and in Perl)

In Perl there are some advanced sorting techniques like
- OM (Orcish Maneuver)
- ST (Schwartzian Transform)
- GRT (Guttman Rosler Transform).
Are such concepts or idioms an issue in Lisp, too? Or why not?
