Hi guys,

I'm currently porting the site www.vodkaisland.com over to PHP and I was
wondering if you could help me on something.

I want to have an incredibly easy way for people to upload lots of photos on
bulk up to the website into a predefined directory (which will be created
via PHP). However, I am not sure how this can be done given that there will
be around 100 photos per gallery, and the people using it will be novices
rather than FTP experts.

So, is there a way for example where someone can create a new gallery (just
making a new directory is all that is required here) and then upload a .zip
file of photos via a web-based interface (rather than FTP) which can then be
uncompressed on the server?

If anyone has any brilliant ideas, please let me know.

Dan.
