I am using phpdev423 that installs php, apache and mysql all at the same
time.
When I run the .bat file to start all the programs, it works fine. I can
see all the included files, I can run some tutorial php scripts I have
written, I can create and modify a mysql database, so I know everything is
running.
When I get ready to stop using the services, the only way I can end all of
them is to go Alt-Cntl-Delete to see the services running and stop all the
apache instances there are and the mysql-nt.
The next time I try to start the programs with the .bat program provided, it
says Apache was not stopped correctly and nothing works.
How should I stop Apache so that it stops properly?
Also, using their screens for creating and modifying a mysql db, it never
ask for user name and password. How do I find those values?
Thanks,
Fred, a newbie
