Hello all,

I current have a website where some directories are protected with .htaccess
file. At the moment I am using javascript to pass username +
password@mysite.com, however I have found that this sometimes doesn't work,
either browser probs or proxy etc plus I want it to look more seemless. What
I would like to do is use a PHP script (and my .htaccess file) as a login
page and to obfuscate the username and password. I have been googling all
day and I conceide to the knowledge or newsgroup users.

Thanks,

Matt
