PHP Apache please help

I am trying to get php to run on an apache server on solaris.

The server runs fine but when I display a php page the is blank.

If I look at eh source I get <html><body></body></html>

Now I know this page is alright as it works on my windows IIS server I
have.

I am using apache 1.3
and php 4.3

Anyone know what I have done wrong.
