Beginner???

Hi there,

I'm new to coding in general, but have been tasked with creating a small
database w/ web front end. The info we store will just be client/customer
info such as name/add/email/etc .

>From all my "digging" on the web, it seems that the PHP/MySql combo is going
to be best for me to learn with. Would you all recommend this? I'm under
no time constraint as my boss understands I don't know this stuff yet.

1. Would you all recommend PHP/MySql for this task?
2. Can you point me to any good books/info on learning?
