Help with smarty

Hello you guys

I've smarty installed, and it works fine in my localhost, but when I upload,
the server wont let me delete the templates_c folder, and because of that,
pages that I'm uploading are not beeing updated, what can I do to solve that
?
The server says that I've no permission. I try to give the permissions, but
the server wont let me.

The folders are beeing named something like this: '%%%%%any'
