Are you trying to use the current date (ie today) ? If so use curdate() or now(). One is for date and one datetime (I forget which)
No, I am making a calendar of events php page for a ymca - they will need to input a future date and the event to take place. It should be simple. I found all kinds of info on how to format the output date <grr>once I find how to get the cursed thing in using a text file</grr> is my problem.
Thanks
