I agree, the answer you, as a newcomer, got was less than helpful. However,
it *does* come down to you, really; if you are puzzled by something, have a
look in the search engines first. Put .htaccess and tutorial into google
and you'll get loads of helpful URLs.

(BTW, a little word of advice: with your present posting habits, you're
likely to get strictures about top-posting - an example being how you
constructed your last post compared to how I did this one.)
