Looking for customer service PHP script.

This is a general question to all the experts here.

I'm trying to find a PHP script that will help customer service on the
website of an industrial manufacturer. He wants something that will
allow customers to login and track the status of their job, change
priorities and look at billing etc.

Every script I've seen so far that is similar to this is built for web
hosts or service companies. Does an off-the-shelf app like this exist
for manufacturers or is it a custom programming job?

If anyone has a suggestion I would really appreciate it.
