fast web search?

Hi,

I have an online bible that I want to be able to search. Now I want to
be able to find "ortho" by searching for "or", but not "Worm".
Something like: must be starting of word. Also case insensitive.

What's the fastest PHP function I should use, because the bible is
quite some text to parse.
