Hello all,
I can't open a .php file using using Windows 98.

My steps:

Start/
Progarms/
Notepad/

Notepad opens and I type in the following:

<? phpinfo(); ?>

I save it as:

info.php

not as a text file but in all files in My Documents.

Close it.

Reopen My Documents and I find the file not as a notepad icon as info.php -
but as a *windows* icon named info.php. However, I cannot open the file it
will give me then Open or Open With...command.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
Eddy

Are you able to see a file extension for this file when you view in
your MY_DOCS

If not Open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer)
Go to Tools > Folder Options
Click on the View Tab
Under Advanced Settings.
Scroll Down and make sure you havent checked the "Hide Extensions for
Known file types"
