So you expect people who have know knowledge of the product to be able to
do better than those who are much more knowledgeable about it?

I have always find PHPBB to be easy to install and administer.
Additionally, I have always gotten great support from their forums when I
have had a problem. The same is true of other webmasters I've talked with
about it.

I don't think your problem is with the product or the people trying to
support it.

And please don't top post.

Fair enough Jerry. I was looking for help outside the support forums because
the support forums couldn't resolve the problem.
And in fact, the particular message thread dealing with this problem was
locked so that the thread couldn't be continued.
So if the support forums stop supporting, what would you have me do?

Well, my partner has made the decision for me. We'll try a different portal.

I would like to thank everyone here that attempted to help.

And have no fear. I will no doubt be back asking for help in the future.
Because I still no next to nothing about PHP.
