Cross posting? you have only selected one newsgroup here, so if you sent the same message to more than one newsgroup, then you have been multi posting which is a no no.

This has to do with a setup that isn't properly done and is kin do f microsoft specific, I think it's better you do as Jerry suggested and ask for help in the wamp forum, as they will have had the question many times.
IMHO things are a lot easier if using an Unix or Unix-like operating system, these usually has the option to install all the stuff during initial install and which then will work fine without further hassle.
Funny but as I'm progressing a little through the jungle of web hosting, all remarks suggest I avoid MS as much as possible, which is sensible. But no, I want to keep XP running and I can't afford a third PC in my study. It will have to be running under XP whatsoever.
But thanks for the suggestion anyway.
