I recommend XAMPP to newer PHP developers. I find it easy to use, and it sets everything up for you. It is truly no hassle.XAMPP is an easy to install Apache distribution containing MySQL, PHP and Perl. XAMPP is really very easy to install and to use - just download, extract and start. http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html
WinLAMP is an installer for Apache, MySQL, and PHP. http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=80998
WinLAMP is about 60 mgb XAMPP is about 30 mgb That's all I know about them.
Which is easiest to install and use?? All I need is apache server, php and mySql.
However, you should just install PHP and Apache on their own. It's not that hard, and it works quite fine for me. Do a Google search for a tutorial.
