A job offer with a gmail address? Not on your life!
your response is ridiculous. more than half of my clients who represent mid sized businesses use a yahoo, hotmail or gmail account. im fact I often email them back from both a yahoo and personal business account in case their spam filters blocks one for some reason.
If it's no problem for you, fine. But I've been a consultant since before the internet became popular. All of my customers have their own domains and email addresses on those domains.
In my experience, by far the majority of those who use free email addresses are just collecting resumes, email addresses to spam and other sleazy actions.
And I'm not afraid to say again - if this were a real offer, I would expect it to be posted on a web site and be able to point to that web site.
Why would I be interested in sending personal information to a completely unknown person based on a posting in Usenet with a gmail address?
