OT: Squirrelmail problem

I know this is off-topic, but I need help and am not getting it
anywhere. This group has helped me before, so I am asking for help
from anyone who knows squirrelmail.

I want to do two things.

1 - From a php page that I have written, when I click on "Read your
mail", I want to go to Squirrelmail but I want to bypass the login
because the user has already logged in to my site. How do I do this?

2 - When a user goes to my site and /webmail, he gets to Squirrelmail.
I don't want him to have to enter the domain, just the username. How
do I do this?

Thanks to anyone who can help me. The Squirrelmail user list has not
posted any of my posts even though I subscribed to the list.
