Depends if you just want to run your environment locally or run off a
hosting ISP.

The versions I run locally on my Windoze XP SP 2:

MySQL 5.1
Apache 2.0.59
PHP 5.1.6

Usually a Host will run some version of 4 for PHP and MySQL.
