Re: installation frameworks for php

In article <efgj2l$r2t$1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, bettini@xxxxxxxxxxxx says...
Hi

is there any php framework for handling installation procedures (i.e.,
installation of databases, creating configuration files, etc...)?

many thanks in advance
Lorenzo

Probably not PRECISELY what you're after, but the PHP-based Drupal
content management system, as of version 4.7, has a framework for
modules to include hooks for installation and configuration. I believe
uninstall is part of the next release as well.
