PHP (mysql) to Excel, Word and PDF and other report formats

Hi there,

We have a php/mysql application in development and we have to product quite a few different reports.

Some in Excel and Word format
Some in PDF format

What are the best tools for achieving this. I do not mind paying for libaries if they are tried tested and solid, but of course free libraries are a bonus.

Is there a lot of people doing this kind of thing out there with a PHP application?
