i need help help with include

Hi

I created a directory and files 3 directory's down

root/dir1/dir2/dir3/files

now i need to include my function file out of the root

root/dir/funtionfile

How do i do this?

I cannot create a htacess file on this server nor set my include path.

Can anyone help please!!!!
