PHP vs MMCACHE problem

I am attempting to install a program (phpcoder) that
requires the Turck mmcache. But when I run the installer I get the following
error message. I am NOT compiling anything myself. I am simply running the
mmcache dll file supplied by Turck.
"unknown(0): Turck Loader: unable to initalize module
module compiled with module API=20010901, debug=0, thread-safety=1
PHP compiled with module API=200200429, debug=0, thread-safety=1
These options need to match"
I have no idea what this means (except something doesn't match something
else), or what to do about it.
Please help.
