phped 4.0 does support svn through shell-integrated tortoise svn.

PHPED got support for cvs in 2001, much before than any other
PHP-oriented IDE. I'm using PHPED since 1999 (when it was free) and I
do know what I'm talking about.

It's wrong. Who does integrates PhpED features is ZEND.
PHPED - first commercial quality debugger for PHP, first integrated
CVS, first integtrated DB client, first integrated PHP profiler.

PHPED 3.0 was released in 2001
then was released versions from 3.1 through 3.3, then 4.0 in Aug 2005.
