Hi,
I am pretty sure that somewhere out there, there is a simple code that
will backup a mysql database. I don't want it to backup up just a
table i want it to back up the entire database. Then it should put the
backup information into a file suchas backup.sql Is this possible?
Also, i would like to know how to put the backup information back into
a database. Also, i have read some articles saying that if you have
too big of a database it might use up all your memory and that there
was a way around this. Does anybody know what it is?
The following is a list of system information of my file host that i
feel is relevent, if you need anything else let me know.
Operating system : Debian GNU/Linux
MySQL version : 4.1.11-Debian_4sarge2-log
PHP version : 4.3.4
Thanks,
Daniel
