"Degrees °C" translates to "Degrees Degrees Celcius."

Use "Degrees Celcius" and your problem will vanish
along with being grammatically correct.

Do not use abbreviations whenever possible. Doing so
is a display of lazy writing and often leaves readers
guessing what an abbreviation means.

If abbreviations must used and meaning is not readily
clear, use explanatory footnotes.

Never use a degree symbol with Kelvin.

Use  °  or  °  to render an html degree symbol.
