I'm trying to use CPANPLUS to submit test reports. I'm running
on Mac OS X (darwin) and have installed the latest CPANPLUS I can
find (0.0499). The problem is that my test reports seem to get
sent properly, but they never show up on testers.cpan.org.
Here is a sample transcript:
CPAN Terminal> t File::CounterFile
Testing: File::CounterFile
Checking if your kit is complete...
Looks good
Writing Makefile for File::CounterFile
PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 /usr/bin/perl "-MExtUtils::Command::MM" "-e"
"test_harness(0, 'blib/lib', 'blib/arch')" t/*.t
t/basic....ok
t/race.....ok
All tests successful.
Files=2, Tests=101, 17 wallclock secs ( 8.82 cusr + 19.95 csys = 28.77 CPU)
Successfully sent report for File-CounterFile-1.04.
Successfully tested File::CounterFile
All modules tested successfully
It says "Successfully sent report", but my report never shows up at:
http://testers.cpan.org/show/File-CounterFile.html#File-CounterFile-1.04
I realized that one problem may be that darwin disables sendmail
by default, but I have enabled it and tested that I can send mail
fine.
I have read through all the CPAN testers documentation I can find,
and I can't figure out what is going wrong.
Any help would be appreciated. I want to contribute to the testing
effort, but so far my tests results seem to be going into some black
hole somewhere.
