Converting email

I had posted this earlier, but am in a little different situation. I am
currently using some of the MailTools-1.65 packages (Mail::Internet,
Mail::Header, Mail::Mailer) to handle some email requirements. And all is
great. But now is the time I need to find a way to convert the emails to
plaintext, from plaintext, etc.

But now that I am looking through all the modules in MailTools, I don't seem
to find any methods that will work with what I am already using. Is anyone
familiar with any module I can use in conjuction with the ones I am already
using to allow me to do the conversion?
