inclusion of .pm files in makefile

Hi,
How is it possible to include personal modlule .pm in a make file? i have included
PM => {
'path_to_pm_file' => 'pm_file'
}
in Makefile.PL but doesn't work.
if for ex, file.pm is in /home/file.pm, how should I specify? like
'/home/file.pm' => 'file.pm'
?
