It sounds as if the script gets stuck in an infinite loop. Have you
looked at the test script to see why it might get stuck at that point?
For most test files, loading the module itself is test number 1, so
it's probably happening near the very start. Once you know where it's
getting stuck, you'll probably know what caused the problem; but let
us know if you still can't get it fixed.

Thanks, I understand your language but not what to do with it. I've dona many
installs if the same modules with cut and paste. I've been a bit further in
trying to figure out how it works but not gotten very far.
For example what test script? OK, so there is a script that eh, tests
something. Where to look for this script?
