Actually, I was able to figure out how to do what I needed to do.

I did not realize that after calling chgat one has to call touchwin.

Everything works great now.

Hi Nacho,

You'll be more liekly to get a response if you show us a sample
program that demonstrates the problem, and also tell us what errors
you're seeing. turning on warnings in your program will help us figure
out what is wrong.

As a side note: what makes you think the the problem is at runtime,
not compile time?
