my $imapserver = 'imap.mail.yahoo.com';
my $user = 'testkingonet';
my $pass = '123456';

May it possible that Yahoo's SMTP server detects that it is being used by a script instead of by a mail client and therefore refuses to work ? Have you tried an alternative SMTP server ?
