That is a cold, callous, self serving statement. One can at
least try to help those with physical challenges. How would you
like it if you found yourself in Octavian's situation and some
one said that to you?
In my opinion that is a curious and divisive post Jack.
Are you suggesting that, despite bottom-posting being a de-facto
standard on this list, and despite a majority of subscribers
expecting it and preferring it, we should all instead top-post
because there must be someone out there that likes it better that
way?
I'm sure Jenda has every sympathy with each individual's
circumstances, but a post can only be in one style and surely
that style should be what the majority favour? Perhaps I could
take issue with Jenda writing 'care about' rather than 'provide
for', but on the whole I agree with him while also sympathising
with Octavian's point of view.
The only comment that I consider to be out of order and
inflammatory so far is your own.
Rob
Rob, My comments were not directed to you.
My comment was directed at Jenda because Jenda's comments came
across as flat not giving a da?? about people with phyiscal
challenges and that is what I was attacking.
And for the record I believe bottom posting makes more sense
especially for anyone trying to read a post late in the process
because it follows the natural way people read and write. If
everyone involved in the thread is reading it from the start and no
one will be trying to read it later then top posting is fine. Top
posting does not flow in a natural order with mailing lists because
they are archived.
Rob you are so predictable and I don't even know you but I knew you
could not leave my post alone.
