System: WinNT 4.0 Server (sp 6a). IIS 4
ActiveState perl 5.8.
MS SQL server.

When I went from Win32::ODBC to DBI::DBD-ODBC response time doubled so
that complex pages went to 20 seconds from about 7 seconds. Granted @
200MHz Pentium its not a fast box, but still... Interestingly going from
.plx to .pl did not affect the speed (if anything its faster). Any ideas?

I'm in the process of moving the whole lot to linux and MySql, hence the
switch.

BTW: if you hit stop on a browser when .plx is running the web server
usage goes to 100%.

There remains free memory so that isn't an issue. There is virtually
nothing else going on the box...

I've googled but didn't see any hits.
