This question may have been asked before, but I have been unable to find
any specific references to it.
I am running Solaris 8 and want to know what to install to get Perl DBI
to talk to MS SQL 2000.
>From the information I have gathered, I need freeTDS, and the
DBD::Sybase module. The problem is that I am having a heck of a time
getting the freeTDS to compile. Part of the problem may be due to the
fact that all the documentation I could find refers to Linux installs.
Does anyone know of any specific how-to for installing/compiling
whatever is necessary to get DBI to talk to a SQL2k server?
Thanks,
