1. Working on Redhat Linux. Oracle 9i is installed in
Windows machine.
2. We are using Perl-5.8.0
3. I installed DBI-1.42 successfully
4. when i tried to install DBD::Oracle-1.15, i facing
this below problem
[root@ibmlx2_12 DBD-Oracle-1.15]# perl Makefile.PL
Using DBI 1.42 (for perl 5.008 on
i386-linux-thread-multi) installed in
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/auto/DBI
Configuring DBD::Oracle ...

Especially if you have any problems.
The ORACLE_HOME environment variable must be set.
It must be set to hold the path to an Oracle
installation directory
on this machine (or a machine with a compatible
architecture).
See the README.clients file for more information.

I gone thru README files also.But, where i have to
set the ORACLE_HOME environment variable either my
machine (Linux) or the Oracle 9i (Windows) remote
machine.
Please help me
