BTW, I almost skipped this message because your subject was about Installing
DBI, not DBD::ODBC.

You need to get a driver manager, such as iODBC or UnixODBC. I have tested
neither on the Mac (although, I now have a very, very, very old MAC with OSX
on it. I haven't had time to play with setting it up and getting used to
it, so I don't, yet, know the issues revolving around the driver managers,
etc.

You will, also, need a driver to talk to the database. Since you do not
specify what database you are trying to use, It's hard to help you there.
