Pls HELP - Perl DBI installation problems

Hi All,
I am desperate for some help. I have installed ActivePerl 5.8.4.810 on
a Windows 2000 server running IIS. We are currently migrating our PERL
web application from UNIX to the W2K platform. I am facing lots of
problems trying to install dbi through ppm. Each time I resolve the
installation issue, a new issue comes up.

The latest problem with the DBI installation is when I do
ppm > install DBI.ppd
Error: can't create temporary directory
'C:/temp/C:%5CPerl%5Clib%5CDBI%5CDBI-756
-1090847116': Invalid argument

I have the following files
C:\Perl\lib\DBI\DBI-1.37.tar.gz
C:\Perl\lib\DBI\DBI.tar.gz
C:\Perl\lib\DBI\DBI.ppd

The contents of the DBI.ppd file are

Can someone please help. As we need to do the migration ASAP, we'll be
grateful for any help. Please let me know if you need any further
information.
