Steps to install DBI/DBD when AIX server doesn't have a C compile r

Hi,

Trying to install DBI and Oracle DBD on an AIX 5.1 server. I have a C
compiler on another AIX server with an identical layout. Can I tar up the
compiled libs on the server with the compiler and then drop them into the
directories on the server without the compiler and link from there? Is
there a doc that lists the steps?
