1. Do you have Oracle client (at least) installed?
2. Did you read the README* files?

DBD::Oracle: DBD-Oracle-1.16
Following error when installing, I tried to locate
oracle.mk but i couldnot find any such file
Using Oracle in /cust/oraclient/9.2.0
DEFINE _SQLPLUS_RELEASE = "902000100" (CHAR)
Oracle version 9.2.0.1 (9.2)
Unable to locate an oracle.mk, proc.mk or
other suitable *.mk
file in your Oracle installation. (I looked
in
/cust/oraclient/9.2.0/rdbms/lib/oracle.mk
/cust/oraclient/9.2.0/rdbms/demo/oracle.mk
/cust/oraclient/9.2.0/rdbms/demo/demo_rdbms.mk
/cust/oraclient/9.2.0/otrace/demo/atmoci.mk
/cust/oraclient/9.2.0/precomp/demo/proc/proc.mk
/cust/oraclient/9.2.0/precomp/demo/proc/demo_proc.mk
/cust/oraclient/9.2.0/proc/lib/proc.mk
