Probably, but it's a good time to ugrade everything in the Perl tree. I
don't know any modules off hand that haven't changed since 2001.

The latest (5.8.6) unless someone has heard of any show-stoppers with it.

With so much that is so old, upgrading is almost a no brainer. The only
thing that might stop you is if some of the old hardware is not
supported by the newer version of the OS.
