mysqlhotcopy + rsync and incremental backups

    Hi Tim,

    I was wondering if it is possible to use mysqlhotcopy to use rsync instead of cp in order to make an incremental backup of a database. cp is the only copy method supported, but if you included the 'only method supported' statement it is because you were thinking on maybe using rsync. is this correct? or complete nonsense?

    I'm experimenting... and I will try it, I just find it very strange that a search for mysqlhotcopy rsync and incremental doesn't come up with someone suggesting the same thing.
