´how to install perl DBI for windows

Hi,
i want to use perl DBI for "Using XML and Relational Databases with Perl".
I am using a package called apachefriends/xampp, where perl comes with that package,which do not have the DBI package. so i want to install it, but i dont know much about perl as i am a php user.
can someone please guide me how to incorporate DBI package for windows.
