We have been able to run successfully with DBD::Sybase version 1.02.
Here is a comment posted to another list by one of my co-workers:
"I'm seeing this also. FWIW, I'm using Perl 5.8.7, threaded, with
large file
support, on Solaris 8, and DBD::Sybase 1.07. Versions 1.04 -> 1.07 of
DBD::Sybase appear to exhibit this problem. Up through version 1.02
seems to
work okay. "
