Is there any easy way to sort a list of atoms in a case-insensitive manner?

 predsort(compare, List, SortedList).

sorts it like that:

Aaaa
BBbbb
aaaa
bbbb

whereas I need

Aaaa
aaaa
BBbbb
bbbb

Thanks for your kind help.
