Hello,
I do not know the rules of the game you are developing. However, I
hope this answer was useful for you.
In some prologs, the clause "4 is X+Y+Z" needs always X, Y, Z
instanciated. Never X, Y or Z can be unbound. I think it is posible
your program was crashing here.
In addition, only as comment, I suggest you to use operator "\+"
instead of "not".
