I think because a lot of readers of this ng are themselves teachers who use prolog as a basis and they don't want theirs students to solve their homework in the last days. In fact, it's quiet these days but you'll see when homeworks are due :)

I recall some years ago some students who were keep asking for a solution to a particular problem (they've got all a different one so it was easy to identify) and their teacher post on this ng something like "You had 3 weeks to complete this taks, I'll see you on monday, Brian !!!" (or whatever name it was)
