Prolog in the Software Market?

Hello Everyone,

I'm researching information about Prolog's market segment and
positioning in the software world. I've read some case studies
published by SICStus about Prolog being used at companies such as
Ericsson, or government agencies such as NASA. However, I was wondering
where would I be able to get any information about Prolog's share in
the market? If I develop a new high-end commercial Prolog compiler
system (which targets several enterprise development areas such as web
development, client-server tools, databases and business rules), which
market would that product sell in?

Thanks in advance,

.
