Re: Parallel Prolog

Hello,

does anybody know what happened to parallel Prolog(s)? It seems that in
the late 1980s and early 1990s many people believed in the idea of
making prolog parallel. Around 1995, this idea stopped to be
fashionable.

Do we not now live in a time in which a parallel prolog could be
useful? Today many people own computers with several processors. And,
most probably, computers will become faster in the next years not
because of having higher clock rates but rather because of having more
processors.

Does this make any sense?

Do you know of any projects about parallel prolog?
